Most of the birthdays synced from facebook and linkedin are for people I will never say happy birthday to. It would be great to be able to dismiss these forever in the main page / reminder view of daily birthdays. I'm anticipating being annoyed at dismissing the same birthdays again next year + the clutter on the screen

Agreed, I've got hundreds of birthdays in the birthday section that I don't want to see or get reminders for. It might be more effective if you could filter out birthdays by specific groups, e.g. "Family" and "Close Friends". That way you're only seeing the ones that are important to follow up on. E.g Include Bdays from x group(s) but not x group(s).

I don't want to be annually reminded about some dude that I met at a networking event in 2001 that I may reach out to every 5 years ;) yes, i'm old.
